How many sessions will I need?
Everyone’s needs are different, so there’s no fixed number of sessions. I work in an open-ended way, but I often suggest starting with six sessions, then reviewing our progress together.
- Short-term counselling can help with a specific situation or major life event.
- Longer-term therapy allows for deeper exploration and understanding of patterns, feelings, and experiences.
We’ll review regularly to ensure our work is still supporting your needs and goals.
How much will each session cost?
Sessions are £65 for 50 minutes.
What about confidentiality?
Your privacy is paramount. We’ll talk through confidentiality and its limits in our first session so you know exactly how your information is handled.
How can I get the most from my counselling?

- Be honest — this is your safe space, without judgement.
- Commit to the work — counselling is something we do together, not something done to you.
